Airknow mini-peat HEPA filters knife edge/Gel seal or called Gel seal style filters have a channel in the cell side containing a non-flowing ,non-hardening urethane gel sealant. The knife edge on the framing system penetrates the gel to seal the filter and prevent leakage. Airknow knife edge filters have an extension on each cell sides designed to penetrate the channel in the framing system containing the gel sealant.
